From what I have read I will still get mine in a few weeks since I was one of the first to pre-order through RPP. The late sept is for the second wave. I'm not sure which wave Chris will be on.

Hey Mike I have started collecting parts for my XR10 so far I have. Wheels-VP SLW's (hubs yet to be determined) Tires-Sedona's Servo-Hitec 7950TH Motors-Team Brood limited edition 45T doubles (sold on RCC) Batteries-Maxamps 1550 mah 3s I just have to decide between one esc and a dig switch or dual esc's. I would prefer dual esc's but then I have to get a 4pk and I don't want to buy one of those until the new version comes out. What parts do you plan on using on your XR10?

You can still set it up now with 2 ESC's, and use Novak's "The Dig" for a dig switch. Then later on when you get a 4PK you just pull out the 18 dollar "The Dig" and your already setup.

the 4PL is a cheaper version of the 4pk/4pks. probably has less mixing control and the lack of fancy LCD or menu control; and the "full" size rx versus the new micro size rx.
personally, i would get a single ESC/punk dig first. this way, you have the option to add another ESC and a 4-ch radio down the road. the first time i switch to dual ESC, it took only a run or two to switch back to a single ESC/punk dig. now, i have switched back to the 4pk/dual setup and i'm definitely dig it more. but honestly, i'm quicker on my DX3R then my 4PK.
when i get one in a few months...
Wheels: VP SLW's Tires: Boss Claws Foam: NOVA dual stage/stock foams ESC: dual FXR or HH ESCs Servo: Hitec 7950TH Motors: HH 55t or 45t Radio: 4PK (possibly 4PKS... hint hint mariner) Batteries: TP 3s or 4s 850mah lipo Possible hopups: bent links, SCX10 shocks
Maybe down the road and swap to a Rock Show stage...

Thanks for clearing up the 4pks 4pl thing for me Randy. Looks like VARCOR is going to have a fleet of XR10's this coming season.

Yeah after the XR10 comes out ya'll can take your burgs and make scalers out of them. LMAO!!! I hear they are already having spool issues with the XR10. I'll end up getting one, Im just gonna hold out for awhile.
